A word from our president...

Welcome to our website! The St. Anne's MCR stands for the St. Anne's Middle Common Room, a term which refers both to the community of postgraduate students at our college, and to the rooms and facilities used by these students. As good Stanners (members of St. Anne's College), we pride ourselves on being a friendly, fun and informal bunch: there are always plenty of people around to talk to and hang out with.

We want you to get involved in college life: that way, you will get the most our of your time in Oxford. The MCR is for everyone, and we welcome suggestions for social events, academic activities and anything else! College is also very open to receiving feedback as well, and unlike some other places where there is all‐out war between the staff and the students, the MCR have an excellent relationship with College. This means that we get listened to and have an input into what goes on. The MCR is here to represent you, so please let us know your views.

The variety of facilities and events offered by the St. Anne's MCR ensures that its members have the opportunity to meet other interesting students from a range of faculties, courses, and countries in a friendly environment. St. Anne's is proud of its relaxed reputation and ability to offer its students an Oxford experience they're unlikely to forget!

I wish you all the best for this academic year, and I hope you enjoy your time at St. Anne's!
